Distelfink Fiber in partnership with Mulberry Hill Farm offers 100% wool yarns grown right here in Carlisle PA and processed in the tri-state area. Each fleece is unique and small batch; with a shearing cycle of 9-12 months. Our flock is cross-bred with the goal of soft longwool fleeces in a wide range of natural colors that is next-to-skin soft and wearable. The predominant breeds are Romney, Border Leicester, and Corriedale with small percentages of a few other breeds.

Each year, we see subtle shifts in our fleeces; reflecting the age and changing colors of our flock, so please make sure you purchase enough yarn for your intended projects.
